Shipper/Receiver

Managing and moving inventory across multiple warehouses

· Staging inventory for use on production lines
· Inspecting in-bound shipments for accuracy, damage and quality control
· Keeping warehouses organized and efficient
· Loading outbound shipments into trucks
· Light inspection and maintenance of forklifts

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience with certification.
· Strong ability and comfort in working with numbers relating to product codes, shipping forms, inventory counts, PO numbers and more.
· A punctual and reliable self-starter able to understand directions and work independently. Able to occasionally direct others.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot according to changing priorities.
· Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve warehouse, inventory and shipping issues.
· Experience in shipping/receiving or general warehousing environments. We are willing to develop people who can show us their potential and willingness to learn.
· A drivers license and experience driving 5-ton trucks is desirable.
· Experience using different shipping-related applications is desirable. Working knowledge of an MRP or ERP system such as NetSuite is a definite asset.
· Note the position involves moderate to occasionally heavy physical labour.

Salary & Location:

This is a permanent fulltime role at 40 hours per week. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience. This position will be based at the company’s office in Carleton Place, Ontario.
