We are hiring a part time, temporary Sales rep for markets and events in Ottawa during the
holiday season.
Are you looking for a flexible part-time job that’s not tied to a desk? Are you outgoing and love
to talk to people? If so, you could be a new Hummingbird Chocolate team member!
We are looking for someone who loves our chocolate and can advocate for our brand. Markets
are mostly located at Lansdowne park in the Aberdeen pavilion. Sampling at area stores could
also be possible. Shifts will range from 3 to 8 hours.
As the Event Sales rep, the key roles and responsibilities will include:
– Attend markets to sell products and speak with customers about the brand
– Transport booth materials (tables, signs, etc) and products and set up market booth and
display
– Handle sales through Square POS
– Visit retail partners and conduct product sampling, educate customers about products
and encourage sales
– Understand the company and products and be able to speak knowledgeably about them
Requirements:
– Ability to travel to market and store locations around Ottawa
– Availability on weekends and evenings throughout November and December (possibility
of extension)
– Must have access to a vehicle and valid driver license
– Will need to travel to head office in Almonte to pick up product and other materials (gas
compensation available)
– Must be outgoing & comfortable speaking to people
