Role Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Resource Centre Specialist to be the first point of contact for our clients. This role is the initial point of contact for individuals seeking employment services. You will identify needs of the job seeker and direct them to the appropriate resource. Assist individuals, both self-directed and directed, with computers, access to the internet, and resumes. You’ll greet visitors, manage front desk operations, promote our services to prospective clients, and assist with other tasks that keep the centre running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome clients and visitors with a professional and approachable attitude.
•Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
• Explain and promote our services to prospective clients.
• Manage scheduling and appointment booking.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Assist with occasional event setup and preparation.
• Assist staff with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent data entry skills, fluent in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
• Clear police records check.
