Ottawa West Community Support is a community support agency that provides services to seniors living in their own homes in the west end of Ottawa. We are currently looking to hire Personal Support Workers and Home Support to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

Personal Support Workers and Home Support Workers are an important part of a client’s care team. You will assist your clients with Activities of Daily Living and all aspects of personal care (PSW), household tasks and management, including: light housecleaning, companionship and meal preparation.

Requirements

· PSW Certificate (for PSW position)
· A negative police record check for vulnerable
· Current CPR/FA certificate
· COVID Vaccine (Dose 1 and 2)
· Well-developed interpersonal skills
· Good organizational skills
· Effective problem-solving skills
· Ability to adapt to changing environments
· Ability to travel from client to client
· Experience with seniors
