Campground Store Clerk

Seasonal work starting May 9th 2025 to September 28th 2025.

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Campground Store Clerk. This role involves providing exceptional service to campground guests, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. As a representative of the campground, you will play an important part in creating a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store, ensuring shelves are replenished and products are properly displayed.
• Provide information to guests about campground amenities, activities, and local attractions.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding store products, policies, and services.
• Assist in unloading and stocking incoming shipments of merchandise.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Ensure that the store is properly maintained, including restocking shelves, keeping the store clean, and ensuring the proper storage of items.
• Follow all safety and health regulations and ensure that the store environment is safe for both employees and customers.
• Assist in promoting store sales, special promotions, and seasonal items
• Sell ice cream

Qualifications – training will be provided
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry light to moderate weights, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism.
• Availability to work weekends, and holidays as needed; additional hours may be available during July and August.
