Flower Shop Store Manager

Fantastic opportunity for a strong, energetic individual who is looking for a long-term permanent position. We are currently looking for a Flower Store Manager. While experience working with flowers is an asset, for the right candidate full training will be provided in all aspects of the business.

That’s not always easy, but that’s what we expect from one another. If you are offered and accept a position as Flower Store Manager, you must be willing to work some evenings and weekends and extended hours during the 3 major flower industry holidays: Christmas, Valentines Day and Mother’s Day.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare and arrange floral orders
Collaborate with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Marketing departments to optimize store operations
Keep up-to-date with product offerings and service standards
Manage inventory control and stock levels
Ensure a high standard of store cleanliness and maintenance
Assist in recruiting candidates for various store positions
Oversee employee orientation, training, development, motivation, and management
Monitor payroll budget and schedule staff effectively
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
Qualifications and Skills

Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead by example
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities

Skilled in training and fostering professional growth

Basic proficiency with computer systems and software
Store hours: Monday- Friday 9AM-5PM, Saturday 9AM-4PM, Sunday closed

Salary: from $55 000, based on experience

Schedule: Day shift
Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay
Education: Secondary School (preferred)
Experience: Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
