Summer Student PSW

Lanark County Support Services is looking for 2 dynamics students to join our teams throughout Lanark County.

Supporting adults with developmental disabilities with social recreational activities and life skills. This is a great opportunity for those interested in future studies of Developmental Services or Social Services to gain experience and knowledge in the field.

The positions are for 8 weeks, 35hrs/wk. Salary is $16.50 per hour

Eligible students – are between 18 and 30 years of age, are Canadian citizens or permanent residents or have official refugee protection status under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (foreign students are not eligible); and are legally entitled to work in Canada, according to relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

These opportunities are being made available as part of the Canada Summer Grant Jobs Program funded by the Government of Canada.

Note: Candidates must be aware that we have a vaccination policy. Successful candidates will need to have had 2 doses of Covid vaccine.
