Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Sign Maker / Installer to join our team. This role involves both in-shop
sign production and on-site installation work. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working
with tools and equipment, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble signs in the shop
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Install a variety of signage including: Architectural signage, Vinyl graphics, Channel letters, Pylon signs, Wall
signs, Window graphics, and Vehicle graphics/wraps
• Read and interpret drawings and installation layouts
• Load/unload materials and maintain organized work areas
• Work at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding when required
• Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards
• Provide professional customer service on-site
• Must show initiative to complete regular maintenance and upkeep without having to be told
Qualifications
• Experience in sign manufacturing and/or installation preferred
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Experience with vinyl application is an asset
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Clean criminal record required for access to secure buildings and job sites
• Must have own transportation. No public transportation available.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Able to follow direction, problem solve, and anticipate next steps
• Basic math skills and ability to use a tape measure accurately — including recognizing fractions and increments,
as well as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
• Willing and eager to learn and operate machinery
• Welding, electrical, or equipment operation experience is considered an asset
