Food Service Aide

Prepare, portion and deliver meals to residents in dining rooms in accordance with Ministry regulations.
Communicate needs and concerns within the department.
Respond to residents’ needs and wishes by offering available choice and suitable alternative.
Maintain dining rooms, service areas, kitchen and equipment to meet standards and food premise regulations in accordance with Public Health.
Ensure residents diets, special needs and preferences are followed according to individualized care plans.
Report resident concerns.
Report food, supply and equipment concerns.
Participate in department activities as required, such as staff meetings, educational and training opportunities.
Must have a working knowledge of the English language in order to take direction, follow establish guidelines and perform job related activities.
Maintain regular attendance.
Follow the Employee Code of Conduct and all Lanark Lodge policies of procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Food Handler Certificate required upon being hired.
