Overview

As a Labourer in our Residential Construction Services team, you would be working with teams that dig and backfill foundation walls in new residential communities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work in a team environment of dedicated professionals
• Assist team members with the completion of excavating, backfilling, and grading of foundations in residential subdivision projects in the City of Ottawa and throughout the valley
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Operate power tools and hand tools

Requirements:

• Prior construction experience is considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation is required
• Ability to work long periods of time and work in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Working hours may vary between Monday to Friday.

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
