Support Services Aide

Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, and staff facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment according to infection control standards.
Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident personal clothing and facility linen while maintaining a clean and safe work environment according to infection control standards.
Keep all areas of facility stocked with supplies as per inventory requirements.
Maintain inventory and order supplies.
Report lost articles and resident special requests or needs.
Process all linens and residents’ clothing according to established procedures including collecting all soiled linen and laundry.
Prepare all residents’ clothing racks and linen delivery carts on an ongoing basis for delivery to all areas of the facility.
Label all resident clothing.
Identify resident clothing that needs replacement.
Participate in department activities, as required such as staff meetings, training and educational opportunities.
Must have a working knowledge of the English language in order to take direction, follow establish guidelines and perform job related activities.
Maintain regular attendance.
Follow the Employee Code of Conduct and all Lanark Lodge policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
