Food Service Aide
- Prepare, portion and deliver meals to residents in dining rooms in accordance with Ministry regulations.
- Communicate needs and concerns within the department.
- Respond to residents’ needs and wishes by offering available choice and suitable alternative.
- Maintain dining rooms, service areas, kitchen and equipment to meet standards and food premise regulations in accordance with Public Health.
- Ensure residents diets, special needs and preferences are followed according to individualized care plans.
- Report resident concerns.
- Report food, supply and equipment concerns.
- Participate in department activities as required, such as staff meetings, educational and training opportunities.
- Must have a working knowledge of the English language in order to take direction, follow establish guidelines and perform job related activities.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Follow the Employee Code of Conduct and all Lanark Lodge policies of procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Food Handler Certificate required upon being hired.
