Shop Assistant

Trim & Door Shop Assistant – Carp Area
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our trim and door shop located in the Carp area.
This is a 30–40 hour per week position, Monday to Friday, with most Fridays wrapping up at 12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing, preparing, and packaging wood trim and doors for delivery
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Working collaboratively with other team members
• Assisting with delivery of materials as needed

Safety Requirements:
You must have and wear basic safety gear on site, including:

• Safety boots
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• CSA-approved safety helmet

PLEASE NOTE: Funding for safety gear is available to all CCA clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic carpentry skills
• Experience using tools such as mitre saws, table saws, air nailers, and other standard carpentry tools
